This is the thirty-day panic. You are still unpacking. The front that looked green at the walkthrough is now thin, yellow, or sitting on dirt that never got roots. Keep it wet, not flooded, for about two weeks. Rain is not a substitute, and a brand-new controller on the wrong schedule will brown the seams while you are still hanging curtains.

You do not have to sod the whole property if only the front cooked. Tell us what the neighbors see from the street and what you see from the kitchen. A uniform front is the 30-day problem. The side yard can wait if money is tight, as long as the grass we install matches what stays. Do not let someone drop a different variety on the dead strip. You will see the line every morning.
