Problem

The homeowner in Kissimmee called about a front and side lawn that never established after move-in: thin turf, spreading brown patches, and compacted soil near the driveway and sidewalk. The lawn was roughly 1,800 sq ft of failing builder-grade grass.

Process

  1. Removed the dead vegetation and debris from the lawn area.
  2. Loosened and amended the compacted soil and corrected minor grading so water would sheet off instead of pool.
  3. Installed fresh St. Augustine sod in staggered rows with tight seams.
  4. Walked the homeowner through a 30-day watering schedule and first-mow timing.

Result

Full coverage at lay-down across approximately 1,800 sq ft. At the 30-day follow-up the homeowner confirmed green-up across the lawn; two small lifted edges were re-seated under warranty at no charge.
