Problem
The St. Cloud homeowner had no working irrigation across roughly 2,400 sq ft of lawn. Hand-watering could not keep up with summer heat, and they wanted coverage in place before investing in new sod.
Process
- Mapped a five-zone layout with head-to-head sprinkler coverage for the front, sides, and back lawn.
- Installed the zones, a new controller with rain-sensor input, and backflow protection per local requirements.
- Ran a pressure and coverage check on every zone and adjusted heads for the beds and driveway edges.
- Programmed the controller and left a written watering schedule tuned for new sod.
Result
All five zones tested at even coverage with no dry spots at handoff. The controller program was documented for the homeowner, sod was laid the following week, and the lawn stayed green through the first 30 days of establishment watering.
